Here's how to make this relaxing beverage for Mom.

  • 16 oz filtered water
  • 2 TBSP dried elderberries (do not eat raw)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp honey (omit for vegans)

  1. Pour water and drop the elderberries into a small saucepan.
  2. Add turmeric and cinnamon to taste.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, and simmer for about 15 minutes. Elderberries contain antioxidants, and boost the immune system. This simmering process helps to bring out the beneficial immunity properties of the elderberries.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool for about 5 minutes.
  6. Finally, strain through a fine mesh strainer and pour into individual mugs.
  7. Drop in our Cherry Tincture using one half (about 15mg) or full dropper (about 33.3mg) - upon your desired dose.
  8. Stir and enjoy!

For the iced-out version, refrigerate over night and then drop in some cubes to suit.

So why put CBD in my tea?

Droppers, hemp oil and tinctures, in tea are widely becoming a great “starter” to taking CBD. Yes, the top of the tea pool looks a little oily - but the taste is great paired with our flavors.

If you are worried about the caffeine mix, research suggests that both caffeine and CBD have mood-boosting properties as well as tiredness (see our last post on CBN) that could complement or conflict with each other.

So we suggest taking drops with tea at night for a soothing night’s rest!

Along with a tall glass of water, our Tinctures have amazing immune boosting benefits that are a great way to introduce CBD into your selfcare routine.
